This page covers the general terms of using this website and our privacy notice. It does not cover the licence terms for GeMRTOS itself — for those, see License.
1. Website terms of use
This website (gemrtos.com) is operated by Ricardo Cayssials, an individual based in Argentina. By browsing this site or submitting any form on it, you agree to the terms below.
Content ownership. The text, graphics, logos and other material on this site are owned by Ricardo Cayssials, except where a third party is credited (for example, Altera® and Quartus® are trademarks of their respective owners, used here to describe compatibility and Altera Solution Acceleration Partner status). Nothing on this site transfers ownership of that content to you.
The GeMRTOS software and hardware IP are licensed separately from this website. This page does not state, expand, or limit those terms — see License for the software (PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0) and the Hardware IP terms (free for academic and research use; commercial use by separate written authorization).
No warranty. As far as the law allows, this website and its content are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, and Ricardo Cayssials will not be liable for damages arising from your use of the site, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Accurate information. If you submit a form on this site (a contact request, a licence-file request, an Altera Solution Acceleration Partner inquiry, or similar), you agree to provide accurate information, since it is used to respond to you and, where applicable, to issue a licence file or evaluate an authorization request.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina.
Changes. These terms may be updated from time to time; the version published here is the current one.
2. Privacy notice
Who is responsible for your data. Ricardo Cayssials, Argentina, is the data controller for information submitted through this site. You can reach us through the contact form.
What we collect. Depending on which form you use, we may collect your name, organization, email address, country, a description of your intended use or project, and, if you request a licence file tied to a specific server, the MAC address of that server. We do not require registration or an account to download or evaluate GeMRTOS.
Why we collect it. To respond to your inquiry, to issue the FlexLM licence file you requested, to evaluate an Altera Solution Acceleration Partner or commercial-authorization request, and to keep the minimal records needed to administer those requests.
Sharing. We do not sell your information. It may be shared only with the service providers needed to run this site (for example, our hosting provider), and only as far as necessary for that purpose.
Retention. We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law.
Your rights. Under Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law (Ley 25.326) and, where applicable, the law of your own country, you may ask to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by writing to us through the contact form.
Security. We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If anything on this page is unclear, or you are unsure what applies to your situation, ask us rather than guess.
